Book Nook Bonanza

Book Nook Bonanza 2009
June 26, 27, and 28, 2009 at York Suburban Middle School

Book Nook Bonanza 2008 was a huge success!  A record number of people attended this event, and shopped for books and related items at York Suburban Middle School.  Over $54,000 was raised from this sale for the Interfaith Chapel at York Hospital.  Plans are now being made for Book Nook Bonanza 2009, which will be held in June 26, 27 and 28, 2009.

Book Donations

The Book Nook Bonanza volunteers will begin accepting books at our Dewey Street warehouse on Monday mornings from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM during October and November, 2008.  The warehouse will be closed for donations from December 1st until after the first of the year, and will reopen for donations on January 5th, 2009.  Donations are only accepted on Monday mornings from 9:00 until 11:00 AM.

After January 5th, 2009 community drop boxes will be placed out in the community for book donations.  Please visit this website after that date for further information about community drop box locations.

As a reminder, the Book Nook does not accept:  Text Books, Encyclopedias, Reader's Digest Condensed Books, or National Geographic Magazines.
